Corporate Financial Executive (CFE)
Department: Group Marketing Services (GMS)
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or CEO
Position Summary:
The Corporate Financial Executive (CFE) is a senior-level leader responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, analysis, and reporting of the organization. This role plays a critical part in driving profitability, ensuring long-term financial health, and supporting strategic business decisions. The CFE collaborates with executive leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth, risk management, and long-term financial goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across departments.
- Analyze financial statements and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
- Monitor cash flow, capital structure, and investment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Lead financial reporting and communicate key insights to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives from a financial standpoint.
- Partner with business units to support financial decision-making and drive performance metrics.
- Manage and mentor finance teams, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Engage with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions to maintain strong financial partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, modeling, and analysis.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in [industry-specific finance, e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, tech].
- Familiarity with international finance, taxation, and multi-entity consolidations.
- Track record of leading organizational change and process improvement.
